Two tenure-track positions, History Program. Universidad del Rosario (Bogota-Colombia)

The School of Human Sciences of El Rosario University invites applications for two (2) tenure-track positions for the program of History to begin in August 2013. Period and region of specialization (includes history of science) are open.

We are looking for outstanding candidates committed to scholarship and excellence in teaching. Applicants that can contribute to our interdisciplinary programs at undergraduate and graduate level, especially in our MA in Social Studies, are especially welcome. Responsibilities include 2 courses per semester at undergraduate level and/or graduate seminars in the candidate's areas of expertise, research, and administrative duties.

PhD must be in hand or PhD dissertation defended by the time of appointment.

El Rosario University is a research-oriented institution, founded in 1653, based in Bogotá, Colombia, with an enrollment of more than 13,000 students. The School of Human Sciences is a vibrant academic community with small-size classes and seminars which aim to foster creative, innovative, and critical approaches.
