The PratiScienS group organizes a one day meeting to discuss Harry Collins’ recent book Tacit and Explicit Knowledge (2010).

The meeting will take place on 12 December 2011 at Nancy University (France).

We are looking for contributions that discuss the argument of Collins’ book or more generally the issue of tacit knowledge in the sciences.

Harry Collins will give an opening talk and discuss accepted papers.

Abstracts (500-1000 words) should be submitted before 1 May 2011 to catherine.allamelraffin@unistra.fr

Notification of acceptance will be made on 15 June 2011.

Authors of accepted abstracts will have to send a complete draft of their paper before 30 September 2011.

Financial support to contributors will be considered.
