STEP - Science and Technology in the European Periphery

The Department of Didactique visuelle of the Art School: École supérieure des arts décoratifsde Strasbourg (ESADS), directed by Olivier Poncer, will organise the next Congress ofthe Association Européenne des Illustrateurs Médicaux et Scientifiques (AEIMS).This Congress will take place in Strasbourg (France) the 4th and 5th November 2011at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Strasbourg.
You will find bellow the Congress program and three calls for contributions:

Ω Call for illustrators: deadline for the submission of applications 7th March 2011(exhibition of medical and scientific illustrations open to the public);Ω Call for papers: deadline for the submission of projects 1st May 2011 (professional seminar day);Ω Call for European schools providing medical and scientific specialisation:deadline for the submission of audiovisual presentations 1st June 2011 (public audiovisual presentation of the different European schools).

The practical informations about the Congress organisation (registration, hotels booking, etc..), depend of the responses we expect from our grant applications. We will contact you as soon as possible on these points. However, we can already confirm you the place and the dateof the Congress.
