Global South Scholar-In-Residence

The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva is launching its next call for application of the Global South Scholar-In-Residence programme. This fellowship is open to outstanding young professors from universities from developing and emerging countries pursuing advanced research in areas bridging the fields of international and development studies, broadly defined, and working in disciplines such as anthropology, history, law, politics and political science, and economics.

Application
The deadline for receipt of applications is 1 October 2013 for residence in Spring 2014 (mandatory duration: 3 months minimum - 5 months maximum).

Candidates must complete the online application form (available at http://graduateinstitute.ch/in-residence) which includes:
- A statement of motivation
- A work plan detailing the proposed activities to be completed during the candidate’s time at the Institute (update of teaching curriculum, research project, etc.)
- Two courses the candidate would be interested to attend while at the Institute
- A curriculum vitae and a list of publications
- Two letters of recommendation
