Contra Aristotelem: Philosophy and Science in the Early Modern Europe

The conference is interdisciplinary oriented. Presentations from the areas of the history of philosophy, history of science or intellectual and cultural history are welcomed. All the presentations should be connected to reception, modification, or criticism of Aristotelianism (as well as Platonism or other ancient traditions) in the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque and Enlightenment.

The conference takes place on Tuesday 10th September 2013 in The Education and Research Library of the Pilsener Region, Czech Republic.

The official languages of the conference are English, Czech and Slovak.

There is NO CONFERENCE FEE.
