SHCY Call for Submissions for the Best Article Prize**

*The Society for the History of Children and Youth (SHCY)** is pleased to call for nominations for the best article in English on the history of children, childhood, or youth (broadly construed) published in calendar year 2009 or 2010 in a print or on-line journal.

The award of a plaque and a check for $250US will be presented at the SHCY Biennial Conference < http://www.h-net.org/~child/SHCY/> June 23-25, 2011, at Columbia University and Teachers College. Nominations are invited from journals, writers (self-nominations), and scholars.

All are eligible for the award, except for current members of the award committee and the executive committee and officers of the SHCY. Nominations must be *postmarked by Feb. 15, 2011*.

Please send a copy of the article to be nominated to *all* members of the award committee at the mailing (or emailing) addresses listed below.
